Although many of our customers have excellent innovative ideas regarding the electronic control of their products, they often lack the appropriate resource and capacity to develop these ideas and manufacture them. Saia-Burgess Cetronic AG takes on exactly this kind of work and supplies them to the customer “just in time”.
Technical Support and Service
At Saia-Burgess we have approximately 250 staff from a total workforce of some 3000 who are directly involved with customers, suppliers and external development partners. They are all well trained and competent specialists operating from the 23 Sales Companies and Tech Centres located in Europe, North America and Asia. Innovative solutions are created from the close cooperation with our customers, the appli-cation of industry specific knowledge and the availability of a globally active organisation oper-ating locally.

Electronics development and industrialisation

Development work includes hard and software, firmware and manufacturing. The most important aspects of design and engineering are:

  • Development of customer specific hard- and software
  • Product development, process definition and development, product launch
  • Advice on material including parts design for ease of assembly
  • Samples. Prototypes and start of production.

Manufacture, procurement and quality assurance
We have extensive experience and know how in many facets of production techniques and processes such as Fine Pitch, BGA, Paste in Pin, PCB adhesives, special solder and lead free manufacturing. Our purchasing is coordinated on a world-wide basis in order to benefit from larger scale purchased volumes whilst retain-ing the flexibility of local availability. All steps from design to final tests are precisely defined in line with current norms and standards. These may be further enhanced by including customer specific standards.
